quite a ride -- this is the story of an American traveling through Vietnam & SE Asia; book released in 1996

Chris rides a Russian-made Minsk motorcycle to & along the Ho Chi Mihn Trail, relating his stories & adventure

after the US war w/ Vietnam, it's interesting to hear about their culture & views on Americans

the biggest takeaway was that, sure, cultures are a bit different, & that poverty conditions a lot of people for the lives they lead

it's a good tale; a bit fascinating; complete w/ beggars, prostitutes, war-victims, & more
