PHENOMENAL book

this one was a joy & treat to read; even inspiring

the founder/creator of Nike's story from track-running in school to starting a rag-tag brand; building it into an international behemoth

it walks us through the many (many) tribulations & close-calls; the meetings & persecutions; the victories

the team he assembled; the family he came from & the one he made; the friends & athletes

quality, innovations, affordability... star athletes wearing Knight's products as they broke new records, etc.

this is a book about passion, hard work, persistence... entrepreneurship

from being upside down & swimming financially; asking for money from anyone willing, including banks -- to being a $10+ billionaire, & representing a brand that is the gold-standard for factories of its kind
