so i liked this book [a lot]

the end gets a little wonky as Alan starts talking about astronomy & physics, citing gravity & the curving of space/time, etc. 🤷‍♂️

beyond this apparent blunder, tho, it's a fascinating journey through his career from childhood to MASH & beyond, giving us an insight into his family life

​​​​​​​the part about his dog being stuffed is genuinely funny, & i'll need to go watch some key episodes of MASH he mentioned, including the one where he conducts surgery alongside his real father 👍
