"My Horizontal Life" by Chelsea Handler
book review by Riley Burnham 12/27/2022
somethin' new; something different
an [audio]book about a woman's foibles w/ dating & attempting to hook-up w/ folks -- some good & entertaining stories in there for sure
i was stricken by Handler's admission of essentially ceaselessly lying: how do people enjoy being around others who lie constantly(?) sincerely
we get some insights into the female psyche [lord knows men need some of this], which tells us they need D-size [to an extent], big or nice cars, comportion w/ their family & friends [pretty obvious], to look good [makes sense], have an ass [lol, well], & a few other bits...
i guess worth the read -- Handler does include a mix of satisfied & jilted excursions where she's most-often the fool... i liked her descriptions of her Jewish father
so yea, good book; light-entertainment
