well this was good(!)

read/listened to an outstanding English-translation audiobook [machine-narrated] of this ol' gem, & found myself enjoying it & letting the imagination run wild

we get radical moisture, & real explanations of the processes of mimicking nature to arrive at extracted gold, better plants, elixirs, etc. etc. 

this is clearly going to send me down a path of further study, including alchemy, arcane [noticed this term is MUDDLED w/ gaming references online], tarot [found trump in there, for triumph], & on & on

using Archive.org is such and excellent resource for this material, as i'm learning to read more languages & have text-translation options at my behest 🙏 really great stuff, this time, riddled w/ tech
