it's good(!)

a professional magician's take on the history & current status of the art -- from Houdini to Copperfield & much more

we hear about *what* makes certain tricks good, from surprise to bafflement

we get David Blaine's unique craft [blending real w/ skills more or less], to heavyweights that could amaze w/ fine-tuned subtlety

we also get mentalists, who specialize in reading their audience

all in all, this is an excellent narrative on appreciating magic
