among the most recommended of L'Amour's books [to me], this one delivered(!)

a warrior, roaming the Dakotas in the time of the Apaches, learning & living on the land... w/ his companion Sam, a semi-wild mutt

this has romance, [limited] violence, manliness... HIGHLY recommendable 👍👍👍
