well this was... ok(?)

basically full-bore trauma series, whether true or fictional -- we hear of their journeys through therapy unto greater realizations & "recovery"

she states at the end that these characters were selected due to their similarities of kind, that is to say, needing love & whatnot

anywho, there may be a few tools here for the layman, otherwise it's a slog of torture & dismay
