it's good(!)

my first Wolfe book [needing to check out his others...], this one is about the bauhaus influence on, primarily, American architecture -- that is to say, it's drabbing

he presents a lot of interesting tidbits on architects & what's being requested of them; of committees; & comically avoiding bourgeoisie like the plague

in the end, little has changed, & corporations are still building giant drab stuff
