well, it's really good -- including some surprising, heart-wrenching sadness

​​​​​​​leaving some of the details for the book, Katherine faces the elements of Alaska along w/ her family, which proves devastating after multiple people very close to her perish

she gets into Iditarod racing, iron man triathlons, piloting... we see resilience, difficult-to-comprehend grief, & much more

we hear of the healing & awe-inspiring power of nature; the stars above, Aurora borealis, & even the long darknesses

this is a survival story of a tough woman
