really good book; insightful

great narrative; well-told; approachable; relatable -- if aspiringly hahaha

was interesting reading this after Michelle's "Becoming" which articulates his writing period for this book; so it was prescient

favorite parts were getting to know his dad & Kenyan family/community; as well as his Indonesian childhood -- really solid the whole way through
