huh -- well, this was good

different than i expected, somehow, this is a timeline-hoppin' spattering of Dylan's career, highlighting a few key instances in his life

we get him first hearing Woodie Guthrie, Robert Johnson, Jack Elliot, & many more

​​​​​​​i'll probably check out Volume Two, altho i'm surprised how little depth he have to a lot of his art -- mostly it's about navigating the folk turf, & even then is kind of light on substance -- oh well, i'm glad i read it
