well, i started & made it most of the way through this one; then moved to other books; then returned to finish it...

ultimately, the notion here is a discourse on the concept of Carpe Diem [seize the day], pondered from many angles over many many years...

Os, relying on Jewish & Christian notions, affirms that time is linear rather than cyclic; so the approach is in line w/ embracing our given moments [today] & doing so w/ gusto(!) while embracing God & goodness
