well, i read the audio version of this masterwork the first time, & was inspired to get a physical [illustrated] version, which this is

it's a great book; lots of wisdom & practical advice [thus the morals: the entire point of the work!]

the pictures accompanying some of the fables are simple & basic [line drawings], & add the tiniest bit of flavor -- so i guess worth it...

i'd now like to procure a 'complete' book of these fables, which i think there are hundreds [a quick web search shows 650+ fables attributed to the likely penname of Aesop [tho it appears the authors are more numerous than indicated]] -- folk tales(!!)
